Jacopo Bonan is a post-doc researcher at Politecnico di Milano. After his graduate studies in economics at the University of Milan-Bicocca, he obtained the MSc in Economics at the University of Edinburgh (UK). He completed a PhD in Economics at the University of Milan-Bicocca and has been research fellow at the Catholic University of Milan for two years.
His research focuses on Development Economics with an emphasis on energy access and efficiency, health, agriculture, formal and informal financial institutions. He is specialized in the design of impact evaluation studies and coordinated several randomized controlled trials in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Within COBHAM, he worked on the role of behavioural interventions to improve energy access and efficiency in developing countries.
He loves travelling and trekking.
