Oreane Edelenbosch is a post doc at the Polytechnic University of Milan. She did her PhD at the University of Utrecht while working at the PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency. During this period she visited the International Institute of Applied System Analysis in Vienna for a three month period.

In her thesis, Oreane explored the role of energy demand change to meet emission mitigation targets in the projections of long term global integrated assessment models. The more detailed analysis of specific sectors, such as the transport and industry sector, show that there is a need to better understand the potential of behavior change at the global level.

To put this in practice, within Cobham, she is working on building a behaviorally founded end use model to connect to the integrated assessment of climate change and energy policies.

Coming from Holland she likes to bike, even in busy traffic Milan. She also loves to play football, travel (especially by train) and swim in the sea.
